Against Forgetting is a photographic assemblage combining contemporary photographs, historical postcards, cartographic fragments and collected ephemera associated with Scarborough. Through layering archival and contemporary material,
the work explores memory, place and preservation. The assemblage reflects on how locations are documented, experienced and remembered, revealing connections between personal collecting, local heritage and changing landscapes.
