Her work references this year’s lockdown with the pandemic described in numbers as we were stayed within our homes and made use of what we had around us. The houses, visible due to the etched negative space reference social media ‘home’ icons while the can lids refer to containment and the importance that food assumed in our lives. The metal armour of the plates is in stark contrast to the delicate and fragile looking print which each makes.
