Everything and Nothing

The painting is mixed media, done on a bespoke canvas. The depth of the canvas was to allow the exploration of the painted surface, creating a three-dimensional quality to the overall piece. The materials used are acyclic paint, ink, paper and pencil, applied in layers, so the texture and depth can be built up and knocked back again. This means the work is always shifting and adapting, from day to day, in correlation with both the physical and emotional landscape.
